Results indicate the following: (a) Facebook is the most utilized media application for e-participation; (b) appointment scheduling is the most common barangay transaction in e-participation; (c) e-participation primarily involves participation in governance; (d) barangay citizen e-participation practices are evident; and (e) while e-participation is practiced in barangay governance, issues such as technology access, proficiency, and instructions hinder its full potential.

To address these challenges, the study developed a model to enhance the implementation of e-participation in barangays, emphasizing the need for collaborative actions among essential government agencies.
