PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE

The International Journal of Visionary Research Studies (IJVRS) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the integrity of the academic record. Our policies are guided by the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics.

Responsibilities of Authors

1.Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their submissions are original works and have not been published elsewhere. Proper citation of sources and acknowledgment of contributions from others is mandatory.

2.Authorship
All authors listed on a manuscript must have made significant contributions to the research and agree to its submission. Guest authorship and ghostwriting are strictly prohibited.

3.Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their work.

4.Ethical Compliance
Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards and include evidence of approval from relevant ethics committees.

Responsibilities of Editors

1.Fair Evaluation
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts solely based on their academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, religious beliefs, or affiliations.

2.Confidentiality
Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and ensure that no information is disclosed to anyone outside the editorial and review process.

3.Conflict of Interest
Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where they have conflicts of interest and delegate the decision-making to another qualified editor.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

1.Timely and Constructive Feedback
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback on manuscripts, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

2.Confidentiality
Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents and not shared or discussed with others outside the review process.

3.Conflict of Interest
Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review manuscripts where such conflicts exist.

Publication Misconduct

1.Plagiarism
IJVRS strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism. Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software, and any detected plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.

2.Data Fabrication and Falsification
The manipulation, fabrication, or falsification of research data is considered a serious offense and will lead to rejection and potential reporting to relevant authorities.

3.Multiple Submissions
Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable.

Corrections and Retractions

Corrections: If errors are discovered in published articles, authors are obligated to notify the journal promptly. Necessary corrections will be issued.
Retractions: Articles may be retracted if significant ethical breaches or inaccuracies are identified after publication.

Reporting Misconduct

Anyone can report suspected ethical breaches by contacting the editorial office at ijvrs@visionaryresearchassoc.com. Reports will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate actions will be taken.
