Inter office coordination along disbursement process and procurement process, of selected State Universities and Colleges in Cordillera Administrative Region

The study assessed the level of inter-office coordination along (a) procurement process and (b) disbursement process of selected State Universities and Colleges in the Cordillera Administrative Region. The study used a quantitative causal-comparative research design. The questionnaires were pre-tested, with a reliability score of 0.984 using Cronbach’s Alpha Reliability. A five-point Likert Scale was utilized in the questionnaire. Weighted Mean was used to analyze the data. There were 231 respondents to the study.

The findings are: (a) the inter-office coordination along the procurement process is Very High, with an overall mean score of 4.22; and (b) the inter-office coordination along the disbursement process is Very High, with an overall mean score of 4.37. Based on the findings, it was concluded that there is very strong inter-office coordination among personnel involved in both the procurement process and the disbursement process.

Based on the findings and conclusion, it is recommended to establish communication protocols.
